How We Will Work Together
First, I’ll urge you to participate in a major “brain dump.” I admit it sounds icky. But like many icky things, it is a necessity. A “brain dump” is a process during which I pick your brain to gather as much information as possible about you and your business. During this process, I may ask you to consider and analyze issues you have never thought of before. I will want to find out all there is to know about your business goals, strategies, target audience, policies and procedures.
Then we will brainstorm together to create innovative ways for me to provide you with traditional and non-traditional administrative support . . . virtually. Because I will then know almost as much about your business as you do, I will be in a position to be your effective assistant and advocate; helping you identify opportunities, meet challenges and overcome obstacles.
Finally, I will help you create or enhance the one thing most businesses must have in order to succeed. I’m not talking about unlimited capital. I’m talking about something much more valuable: a strong foundation. Strong. Foundation. That’s my specialty. I can put my years of administrative experience and organizational zeal to work to help you to create a solid administrative foundation on which you can build a business that will grow, flourish, and last.
How We Will Work Together Virtually
Even though I am providing you with administrative support, I won’t be located outside your office or down the hall. In fact, I won’t necessarily be in your state, time zone, country, or even continent! So how do we communicate? By taking advantage of current and future technology, such as:
- Phone
- Fax
- Regular mail
- Overnight delivery
- Diskette transfer
- Instant messaging
- Internet chat
- Internet collaboration tools
With these tools, we will work together as closely as if I were located right down the hall. Don’t worry if you’re not as familiar with all of the technology listed above. Part of what you can expect me 2do for you is to help you learn how to use them.
